Event Details
Sara Graham’s work is primarily concerned with issues and ideas that surround and make up the contemporary city. One of her central activities is exploring different ways and means to transform a viewer’s perception of “place” using forms of architecture, forms of storytelling, forms of mapping or some or all of the above. Fata Morgana is a new body of work about Vancouver created for this exhibition. Fata Morgana is a type of mirage, that produces multiple overlapping images that actively change and distort creating the deceptive appearance of distant objects. The exhibition includes photography, drawing, collage and maquettes.
