Michelle Biggar’s art practice is an exploration of the structured and the organic, the rigid and the soft, the free gestures of the hand and the precision of geometry – bringing these concepts together in a layered mixed-media expression that combines the tactile qualities of paper and thread into balanced compositions.

A departure from her prolific 25-year career as an Interior Designer, Michelle Biggar’s art practice explores concepts of freedom within structures and geometries, through tactile expressions.
With this show, we are invited to delve into the layers of texture, colour, geometry, order and play in Michelle’s works – in conversation with Propellor’s design pieces.
