Over the summer, AWARE and Arts Whistler invited the local community to submit photographs themed around environmentalism, natural beauty and eco-citizenship.

Over 100 powerful images were submitted and juried. The shortlisted photographs will be on display at the Maury Young Arts Centre from November 16th to December 23rd.

It will be a night of community appreciation for the nature that Whistler provides us with.

Admission is free, and no registration is required, just show up and enjoy with us alongside appies, live music and drinks.

You’ll get the chance to hear about the idea behind this photo contest and meet some of the artists behind the prints. There will also be the chance to purchase prints with profits going to the artist, Arts Whistler and AWARE combined.

This event is FREE and everyone is welcome.
