Ann Goldberg is a Vancouver-based painter exploring aspects of Hyperrealism and Abstract Expressionism, seeking to merge these seemingly opposite art-strategies into a coherent whole. Her newest body of work, featuring paintings and photography, was created during the isolation of the Pandemic, and focuses on a deeply considered explorations of flowers as an expression of life, connection and inspiration, containing anthropomorphic qualities that seem to be reflected in the Pandemic stories that continue to unfold.
