From the late Pakistani artist, Madiha Aijaz, this multimedia exhibition showcases how the people of her home city, Karachi, relate to their environment. It’s a testament to Karachi’s multicultural fabric, but also it’s storied past with colonialism.
The first Canadian showing of Aijaz’s work, this photography and video exhibit explores what the artist described as “contested, often fractured landscapes.” A glimpse into the often conflicting voices that make up a city.
