Event Details

Surrey Art Gallery Association announces their first Thursday Artist Talk of the season with Pranay Meher at Surrey Art Gallery on September 11 from 7p.m. to 8:30 p.m. titled “Up Close through Photography.” Admission is free.

Pranay’s journey into wildlife photography began in the dense and captivating jungles of Central India, where he had his first encounters with tigers, leopards, and an incredible variety of birdlife. It was here he learned the art of patience, observation,
and storytelling through his lens.

Determined to take his passion further, he planned a dream expedition to the Serengeti. Through this talk, Pranay will share stories behind his photographs, the unpredictable challenges of photographing wildlife, and the importance of ethical and respectful
wildlife photography. His goal is to inspire a greater appreciation for nature’s wonders and to highlight the significance of preserving the world’s rich biodiversity.
