Bernie Legge Theatre
The Bernie Legge Theatre, located in New Westminster’s historic Queen’s Park, is home to The Vagabond Players a long-standing theatre group.
After the group’s inception in 1937, The Vagabond Players was furnished a new, permanent home by the City of New Westminster in 1950, and in 1997 this new home was renamed The Bernie Legge Theatre in honour of the beloved Bernie Legge who passed away that summer.
The Vagabond Players is proud to be celebrating over 75 years of theatre in BC’s Royal City, providing affordable entertainment and a rich history to all that come through its doors.
