These are inaccessible landscapes, manufactured in our imagination through observation, or a form of collective memory of nature. They document the social, emotional and physiological landscapes of the territories we idealize and at the same time wreak havoc onto. They evoke majestic sceneries of complicated relationships between humans and the natural environment.
