Love Letters to Turbulence (LLtT) is a participatory durational project that explores the affects and effects of trauma in and on a being and body over time. It focuses less on the specifics of what happened and more on what it feels like to live with it, in its nonlinearity. The work invites people in through multiple entry points, where they can choose how they wish to engage, or not, at their own pace. Originating from an autoethnographic perspective mainly relating to gender-based violence, LLtT is designed to shift and grow through community, to hold many narratives rather than one single story over time.
